RuthAnn and I are the new owners of Rocky Road as of June 2025.

We have a family of 1 daughter and 3 boys. We love to golf, camp, fish and be outdoors. We also love to travel as a family to see new parts of the world.

I, Jonathan am also the boys and girls golf coach at Rocky Mountain and own a couple other accounting businesses. I knew the former owner, Michael McCrady, when we coached together and I am honored to carry on Michael's legacy in the drivers ed world.

Hanna McGee Business Manager

I have loved managing Rocky Road over the past year and bringing my experience as a former business owner to this company. As a dedicated wife and mother of two teenagers, I enjoy spending time with my family attending their sports activities, playing tennis and exploring the many wonderful places that make Idaho such a great place to live and work. I excel at finding solutions that meet our customers' needs, making our systems function more smoothly and ensuring that our instructors have the support they need when working with our students. I love what I do and so grateful to have this opportunity to serve our community in this capacity.

Allison Tilden - Lead Instructor

I joined Rocky Road in 2010, thanks to my brother and best friend, Mike McCrady. I am a former high school substitute teacher for West Ada Schools (2007 to 2022), a devoted wife since 1996, mom of three, and foster mom. After Mike’s passing in 2021, I stepped in to manage operations through 2024. I now enjoy training instructors and helping students of all ages and abilities grow in confidence behind the wheel, proudly continuing the legacy Mike began.

Kristin Galloway Instructor

Family, fun, and building relationships. These are the foundations of everything I do. I am mom of two beautiful, tall and talented sons, and new grandma to an even more beautiful and talented grandson (obviously no bias there! ). Teaching is my passion. A proud Mountain View Mavericks, I have taught English at MVHS since 2003. An OG Rocky Road Driving School employee since 2008, I love seeing students learning and growing in confidence, whether it is on the road or in my English class. I treat my students like I would want my own sons treated — like family. Rocky Road Driving School has been based on this premise since its inception, and I take it to heart on each and every drive. I cannot wait to be a part of your student’s safe driving journey.

Nichole Flores Lead Instructor & Scheduler

I am a former elementary school teacher in the Boise School District for over 22 years.  I was inspired to join the Rocky Road team shortly after my son completed the drivers education program and have been serving students and parents for over 5 years in both my roles as an instructor and scheduling coordinator. My role as a teacher has equipped me with an immense amount of patience and understanding for all learning abilities that make even the most nervous student feel at ease and confident in my car. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, two daughters & their husbands. We all have found the passion to be active together as much as possible doing everything from outdoor pickleball, golf, rafting to plenty of indoor game nights. I look forward to meeting all my future student drivers, each one of them makes my job worthwhile.

Craig Dayton - Instructor

Hey there. My name is Craig Dayton. I’m an Idaho native and love hunting and fishing in the mountains. I’ve been married to my wife, Brenda, for 21 years and we have two teenage daughters.
I’ve been a schoolteacher for 23 years here in Idaho and have had the opportunity to live in Venezuela, Papua New Guinea and Ecuador. This next year I’ll be teaching art at Compass Charter School.

It is a rewarding experience being able to instruct my students and see their confidence grow every day they are behind the wheel.

Monica Frederickson - Instructor

I have been a long-time (20 + yrs) family friend of the McCrady (previous owners) and Tilden families.  With my background as a HS Substitute teacher, volleyball and basketball coach, wife and mother of 4 children & 6 grandkids, this was a seamless transition into a driver's education instructor. My adaptability and dependability shine through no matter the skill level of my students because I can put my students & parents at ease. I appreciate that parents reach out to teach the next child in line. I have a passion for teaching all ages and I am passionate teaching the safeties of driving to everyone in the car with me. My husband can attest to this.

My free time you can find me walking my dogs, riding my bike, going on hikes and enjoying the great outdoors.

I'm from Maracaibo, Venezuela. I joined Rocky Road in Summer of 2023. I'm dedicated to each student and want them to have a good experience while doing drivers ed. I love to get to know every student and hear their different stories. I love winter and the snow because I can go snowboarding with my family; during the other seasons I like to go on road trips and explore Idaho.

Brendan Malloy Instructor

I am excited to be your driving instructor! I have been a full-time classroom teacher in some capacity since 2010, and I have been teaching speech, debate, English, and AVID at Owyhee High School since we opened up in 2021. My teaching career has taken me to a few different states with thousands of students, and my students know me as someone who is always positive and enthusiastic about what he is doing. No one loves their job as much as I love mine. Rocky Road gave me this tremendous opportunity to teach in 2024, and I have loved just about every minute since. Safe driving instruction with predictable habits are what I care about most in the car.

When I am not teaching, you will likely find me with my wife and our two boys. We do a lot of fly fishing, camping, hiking, worshipping, golfing, and every other sport we have time for.

Janea Sites Instructor

I am a proud native Idahoan. I have 2 different part time jobs and I love them both, of course Rocky Road as a driving instructor and I have worked at a local fire district for 18 years.

Being a driving instructor is both fun and rewarding getting to know each of our amazing students and watching them learn and grow into confident young drivers is the true highlight of what I do.

When I'm not working you'll find me with my family. My husband and I have 5 amazing kids and one grand baby! I love adventuring with my family. We love camping, boating, skiing, rollerblading, biking or hiking but most of all I love to travel and experience new places and things.

Raegan McCrady Instructor

Hi, I’m Raegan McCrady! I’m a proud BSU graduate, 4th grade teacher, and dance teacher. My dad instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of driving, and now I love helping students learn that same respect and build their confidence by teaching them a lifelong skill of driving. Whether I’m in the classroom or working with teens, I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences!

Reed Clayton Instructor

I am a long-time resident of Meridian.  Me and my wife, Lisa, have raised 6 children and 3 of them have completed the Rocky Road Driving School course.  We also have 7 beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy being an instructor for Rocky Road because the organization is built around doing what is best for students and parents.  The commitment to excellence truly is the gold standard in the valley for driving instruction and that motivates me to work to continue that level of excellence in my role.

When I'm not in the car, my family and I try to get outdoors and camp, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Rocky Road Driving School began as a vision brought to life by Mike McCrady — a man deeply passionate about helping young drivers gain the skills, confidence, and responsibility needed to thrive behind the wheel. When Mike passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2021, his wife Angie stepped in with strength, determination, and love to carry on his mission.

As the former owner, Angie proudly took over to ensure Rocky Road remained a cornerstone in the Treasure Valley. With the unwavering support of her two daughters, Raegan and Kyra, she continued building on the foundation Mike laid — one built on integrity, community, and a commitment to excellence in driver education.

Today, Angie, Raegan, and Kyra remain deeply proud of what Mike built and are honored to have been part of his legacy. Though the torch has been passed, the heart of Rocky Road still beats strong. As the business grows and evolves, the McCrady family looks forward to watching Rocky Road continue to be a driving force in the community — just as Mike dreamed.
